Patrick is a well-networked extrovert with extensive experience in queer community organisations.

He has volunteered for six years with the Melbourne Queer Film Festival (including two on its board), as well as with Switchboard, the Equality Party, and fundraised for the Victorian Aids Council (now Thorne Harbour).

He has studied the sociology of gender and sexuality, and deeply explored the issues affecting how GBQ men relate in social spaces. 

Patrick has thirteen years of professional fundraising experience with strong skills in marketing, data, writing, training, and facilitation.

A long-time practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga and disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda, Patrick has been practising for 19 years and teaches yoga and meditation at The Ashtanga Centre of Melbourne.
